Escaping from the Pyschopath’s Den with AIM Escape

Escaping from the Pyschopath’s Den with AIM Escape

I had my first try at of escape room a couple of weeks ago and I think i’m already hooked. The rush it gives you and knowing that your escape is all down to working as a team and trying to work your way through various rooms gave us all such a buzz that we’re now determined to make escape rooms a regular group thing. And so when we were invited down to AIM Escape, there was no way that we’d be turning that down. Some of us were a little concerned when we found out what the room was...

A Pho-nomenal Foodie Evening at Pho & Bun

I love finding new places for food. Whether it be an after work nibble, a special occasion or just something to cheer me up. I’ve found that as my blog continues to develop, a lot more people are coming to me for recommendations of where to eat for certain occasions and I love to be able to give them a reply with somewhere they may not have heard of before. Pho & Bun is definitely going to be one of my new recommendations, the food was great, as was the service and atmosphere, it’s one of those restaurants that you’d...

Discussing Fun, Food and Flatmates with Ideal Flatmate

Discussing Fun, Food and Flatmates with Ideal Flatmate

Moving to a new city can be an extremely daunting yet super exciting experience and part of your life. You’ve left behind all of your home comforts and quite often, your close friends and family that you’d often rely upon for attention and weekend plans. It’s a fresh start and a chance to learn new things, explore new areas and make new friends. I’ve been in this situation just 2 times, the first being when I went to University in Southampton where I didn’t know a soul and the other was when I first moved to London just under 2...

Comptoir Supper Club with Tony Kitous and WeFiFo

WeFiFo Last week I had the pleasure of attending a supper club on behalf of LovePopUpsLondon with WeFiFo at the fantastic Yalla Yalla, just off of Oxford Street for a dinner hosted by the fabulous Tony Kitous.  It was a colourful feast fit for a queen, with great company and some tasty wine. I think I’m still full from all of the amazing Lebanese food!

Foxtrotting the night away with The Immersive Great Gatsby!

Foxtrotting the night away with The Immersive Great Gatsby!

Great Gatsby is one of the best-known novels since the dawn of time. However I’ve always had a little bit of a love-hate relationship with it. I studied the F. Scott Fitzgerald story as a part of my English A level but never really got very into it and often pretended to have read it when in fact I’d just googled what happens in each chapter as we went along. So, when Lovepopupslondon invited us along to The Great Gatsby immersive theatre experience by Immersive Ensemble.  I sort of thought that it’d be history repeating itself and that I wouldn’t...

Challenging ourselves with Lock’d

Challenging ourselves with Lock’d

There are always new ideas and crazes in London that everyone rushes down for to get involved in. The escape room craze has been around for a little while now, but I’d always just assumed I’d be far too hopeless to even attempt to escape from a locked room using nothing but my brain (because let’s face it, there’s not a whole lot going on in there the majority of the time). So when I was invited to test out Lock’d escape rooms I knew my time had come to prove to myself that I could do it. And so...

Shaking things up at Devonshire Terrace

Shaking things up at Devonshire Terrace

I’m not completely sure what’s going on with the weather at the moment. It doesn’t seem to know what was going on. However, I’m determined not to let the ever-changing climate keep me from celebrating that it’s finally springtime and that summer is supposedly just around the corner. And with the changing of the seasons it means that the menus at the majority of our favourite bars and restaurants are beginning to change to be more summer-friendly. I was so excited to be invited along to taste the new Spring/Summer menu at Devonshire Terrace along with an incredible cocktail masterclass...

A Royal Knees-up at Madame Tussauds Lates

A Royal Knees-up at Madame Tussauds Lates

With Prince Harry’s imminent ceremony to the beautiful Meghan Markle just a few hours away the whole country has gone completely wedding mad! Any Royal Wedding is a cause to celebrate in my eyes, and that’s exactly what one of London’s top attractions decided to do last night! I was cordially invited to the Royal Stag and Hen Do after hours as part of Madame Tussauds London Lates, where I was able to rub shoulders with the couple of the moment and all of the other fantastic celebrities and household names that were in attendance!
