Visiting Cinnamon Bazaar in Covent Garden

Visiting Cinnamon Bazaar in Covent Garden

All of this hideous English weather has had me longing for some delicious and warming comfort food, and you can’t get much warmer than an Indian! (Although I always tend to stay towards the milder end of the spectrum as I’m a complete wimp that can’t handle spicy food whatsoever). The rain definitely worked in our favour on the evening that we attended Cinnamon Bazaar in Covent Garden as we were supposed to go to another nearby restaurant but were told last minute that the kitchen had flooded, luckily Love Pop Ups London was able to organise for us to...

A Delightful Afternoon Tea at VIVI Restaurant

A Delightful Afternoon Tea at VIVI Restaurant

Did you know that the week of the 12th – 18th marks National Afternoon Tea week in the UK? Handy for me, Last weekend I was invited to review VIVI Restaurant‘s Traditional Afternoon Tea on behalf of Love Pop Ups London. I last visited VIVI just after it opened to review their dinner, which I couldn’t fault. As I haven’t had the chance to try many afternoon teas in London I was very much looking forward to filling myself with some fruity tea and some sweet goodies, not to mention the sexy little finger sandwiches that every afternoon tea must...

Rum Masterclass & Summer Sound Clash at Turtle Bay Brixton

Rum Masterclass & Summer Sound Clash at Turtle Bay Brixton

Rum is one of the spirits I know least about. At least it was until love Pop Ups London invited me to a rum masterclass followed by a delicious dinner at Turtle Bay in Brixton to celebrate the launch of their Summer Sound Clash, a four-day Summer Sound Clash Festival that will take place across seven of its restaurants on selected dates throughout July and August. Here I learnt a huge amount about different rums as well as getting a taster of a large variety which resulted in a slightly sore head the following morning!

Making our very own gin at the 58 Gin Distillery

Making our very own gin at the 58 Gin Distillery

There was a point in my life that I was sure I didn’t like gin. Granted, this was a couple of years after a very bad gin experience as a teenager at a house party where I had to be picked up by my dad and was very sick in his car. But in recent years I have managed to get over this fear of gin and now I just can’t get enough of the stuff. I love all the different variations and how refreshing it can be. So I was over the moon to be invited down to the...

Zoo Lates are back at ZSL London Zoo!

Zoo Lates are back at ZSL London Zoo!

I’m very much in agreement that going to the zoo is one of the most interesting and exciting days out. But, wanna know what’s even better? An evening at the zoo. And that’s exactly what you can do at London Zoo in Regents Park as their Zoo Lates has arrived! It’s the perfect way to see all the animals with no little kids running around, also there’s plenty of food and drink to see you through the evening. I’ve had a few people ask me about this and then gone and everyone has said it’s amazing so you should probably...

Mecca Got a Makeover at Players Bingo Camden

bAnyone that knows me is well aware of how much I love bingo. Not just any bingo though, it’s got to be fun. Lucky for me, that’s exactly what Players Bingo Camden offers. It used to be a Mecca bingo but has recently been given an exciting makeover so that it’s in the running with the other big boy bingo nights that London has to offer. I headed down to their launch party to check it out in the hopes of winning big!

Creating a Masterpiece with Paint Republic & Stane Street Syndicate

Creating a Masterpiece with Paint Republic & Stane Street Syndicate

Recently I was invited to one of Paint Republic’s paint and sip events organised by Love Pop Ups London at Stane Street Syndicate in Clapham. Here we indulged in a tasty meal before we headed in to conjure up some artistic delights whilst bopping along to some music and having a little chit chat all while we were taken through the processes to copy the painting that The Paint Republic had asked us to reproduce!

The future of entertainment at Lola’s Underground Casino at The Hippodrome

The future of entertainment at Lola’s Underground Casino at The Hippodrome

I’ve visited the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square more times than I can count. It’s always a great night and there are so many different areas and activities that ensure each night will be different from the last but all are guaranteed to be fantastic. It’s been a while since I visited Lola’s underground casino in the bottom of the casino and so to hear that it’s had an exciting new update meant that I was very intrigued to visit along with Love pop ups London.

Trying the Sorolla Menu at The National Gallery Cafe

Trying the Sorolla Menu at The National Gallery Cafe

Visiting any museum or gallery in London is often a day out in itself, and can be very hungry work. One of the most popular Galleries in London is The National Gallery in Trafalgar Square which hosts various exhibitions throughout the year alongside more than 2,300 paintings. Seeing all of this can be hungry work, but did you know there are 3 different places to refresh and fill your tummies? I was invited along with Love Pop Ups London to try out The National Cafe and their new Sorrolla menu which supports the exhibition of the same name inside the...
