There’s not much better in life than a dinner party. Food, drink and fun company. What else could you want from a Friday night? And that’s we’re South Place Hotel steps in. A few weeks ago They held Friday night dinner event named The Suckling Pig Dinner, which is just one of the many exciting events that they hold throughout the year. I was very excited to receive an invitation for me and a guest to experience this for myself, and *Spoiler Alert*, it was a fantastic evening of culinary delights!
I’m not completely sure what’s going on with the weather at the moment. It doesn’t seem to know what was going on. However, I’m determined not to let the ever-changing climate keep me from celebrating that it’s finally springtime and that summer is supposedly just around the corner. And with the changing of the seasons it means that the menus at the majority of our favourite bars and restaurants are beginning to change to be more summer-friendly. I was so excited to be invited along to taste the new Spring/Summer menu at Devonshire Terrace along with an incredible cocktail masterclass to learn more about their summer cocktails!
It’s been a crazy busy few weeks at work but as you may be aware, I like to work hard and play hard. So when I was invited to spend the day at Plate Restaurant in Shoreditch with Ferris Heart Sloane and Jeessica Rose Flowers for a Flower Crown making Workshop & Lunch there was no way I was going to miss it and i’m so glad I didn’t as it was one of the most wonderful afternoons. I met some lovely bloggers, munched on incredible food and came away with my very own flower crown that I made on the day!
Living in London has really opened my eyes to the colossal amount of different cultures that inhabit the city. And a way that I love to explore these cultures is through the numerous varieties of cuisines that line the streets. Each exotic meal I try makes me just want to pack my bags and travel the world to these countries who’s food I enjoy SO much. One of my personal favourites has to be Thai food and so I’ve teamed up with Destination2.co.uk, for their exotic food campaign. Have you ever been to an event or party that was out of this world unreal? I did, back in 2016 when Brockmans Gin held a dinner party in Shoreditch’s Village Underground and it was a night ‘Like No Other’. You can read more about this HERE. I still speak about that event and remember how incredible it was, so when I had the chance to revisit Brockmans to celebrate their incredible Gin in this years set of events called #PressForGin, there really was no way I was going to miss it. In my eyes, cheese is one of the great wonders of the world. I don’t know what I’d do with my life if cheese was never invented. I feel incredibly sorry for those who can’t eat the glorious stuff as a staple part of their diet. So when I heard that Rascals in Shoreditch holds a weekly cheese party, I simply HAD to get myself a ticket and gear up for possibly the cheesiest night of my life.
I LOVE CREME EGGS. There, I said it. I look forward to them all winter long (although they seem to be appearing earlier and earlier each year now). So I was over the moon to attend the new creme egg pop up which opens today in Shoreditch! It’s called the Creme Egg Camp and it’s here to help you celebrate ‘Creme Egg hunting season’ and hopefully give you more of a chance of finding one of the extremely rare white chocolate eggs!
January can be an immensely dreary month. Christmas is over, you’re back at work, all of your money has mysteriously vanished and there are hundreds of disgusting illnesses flying around the streets (I think I’m only just starting to feel human again). I’ve spent many a January searching for something that can brighten my month and make me feel fabulous but I think I’ve finally found something that gives me that boost and helps to make the first month of the year that little bit more bearable.

As you’re probably all aware, I love going out for an evening and indulging in some tasty food and drinks as well as good company, yet I often find myself heading towards Central London to do this. So when I was invited to The Kings Arms in Hanwell to try a selection of their food and drink I was excited to be able to just hop on a 15 minute bus in a Westerly direction!
Each year in the run up to Christmas, my friend Jaz and I plan our annual Christmas Day out (some years we’ve been too unorganised and done it afterwards). I always look forward to this as we try to jam-pack as many festive things into one glorious day, and because we normally end up rather merry if we’re not driving. And this year was no exception…

I’ve fallen in love with these products, as have my friends and family who have been helping to gobble up the delicious goodies!
Day 3 on my 12 days of Christmas stocking gift ideas belongs to Cranes and their Cranberry and Blood Orange Liqueur. I brought this home with me a few weekends ago so I could test out and try some of the cocktails recommended by cranes which all use this amazing fruity liqueur to create some super tasty cocktails. I’m definitely going to be trying some of these out again over Christmas with the liqueur that I have left over! My parents also loved this stuff and were so glad I’d brought it back to try with them.
It’s that magical time of year again when everyone begins to get more festive and it’s acceptable to drink mulled wine. You must know what that means?
