They currently have a whole range of deliciously tempting Christmas cakes available to purchase with lots of sweet designs to choose from. These include some hilarious Brussels sprout designs, Star Wars themed cakes and some that are a little more traditional, why not take a peak at which one takes your fancy HERE!
I struggled to make a decision on which cake I wanted as there were just so many I loved. I finally landed on the awesome and super cute Christmas Santa Cat Cake and added my blog name to make it that little bit more personal. And if that wasn’t enough, some designs even let you add your own image to them so you can guarantee that there won’t ever be another cake like yours!
If you order before 2pm you can get next day delivery which is amazing and makes bakerdays and absolute lifesaver for those of you who love to leave present buying til the last minute and these cakes are designed to fit through a letterbox (hence the name) and so you can get your cake delivered straight to your loved ones door and not have to worry about it!
When my letterbox cake arrived I was so excited and couldn’t wait to open it, and when I did I found a little Christmas cracker inside, such a nice touch. Alongside this was a dainty little tin which contained my beautiful cake. I love it! It looked good enough to eat right there…but I resisted until I got home so I could take some photos for you to see just how lovely it is. Be proud of me. Please.
then came the taste test. If a cake looks great but tastes awful then it’s a complete fail. But with bakerdays this is not the case at all. You can choose from a variety of different cake flavours including chocolate, fruit cake and even a gluten free option. I played it safe with a vanilla sponge and I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. It was light and fluffy and oh so delicious. Mary Berry would be proud. The icing was sweet but not too sickly and so made the perfect combination. My housemate also gave the cake a huge thumbs up so we can’t recommend baker days enough.
So, what are you waiting for? Get your letter box cakes ordered for those you care about (or treat yo’self) today!
As I mentioned earlier, bakerdays have also given me one of their lovely cakes to give away to one of my lovely readers (I mean, who doesn’t love free cake?)
